This plush decoration is made in with intricate beading and embroidery work. The figure is shown with his golf club, a popular past time in Scotland, wearing a red tartan jacket and matching trousers.
This fair trade decoration is produced by Saint Nicolas. For over 25 years Saint Nicolas have worked with a Christian charity in Thailand to help disadvantaged women find work in their community, today some 200 skilled women work at home sewing St Nicolas decorations, and many of them have been doing so for more than 10 years.
