Inspired by Bauhaus design, a German art school operational from in the early 1900s that combined crafts and the fine arts. The school became famous for its approach to design, which attempted to unify the principles of mass production with individual artistic vision and strove to combine aesthetics with everyday function.
Green Grove Weavers are two designers with a passion for creating original contemporary design based on the rich traditions of Scottish craftsmanship. The design studio and headquarters are located in Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands, where they take inspiration from the wonderful landscape of the hills and glens. They produce beautiful, timeless accessories in the United Kingdom on traditional looms using natural fibres, the finest lamb’s wool melanges, luxurious mohair, and a range of British wools.
