Beautiful 100% silk scarf with a reproduction of artist Eduardo Arroyo Rodríguez’s work of a Spanish dancer on a black with colourful polka dot corners produced by French company Brochier Soieries.

Eduardo Arroyo Rodríguez (26 February 1937 – 14 October 2018) was a Spanish painter and graphic artist. Known for his cartoon-like and parodic depictions of figures in a flattened pictorial space, Arroyo’s work is partly inspired by his time spent working as a caricature artist.

Arroyo became known as an artist partly through his involvement in set and costume design in Paris, Berlin, and Milan. Today, his work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, among others. Arroyo lives and works in Spain.

The Brochier family has been manufacturing exceptional fabrics from natural silk threads in the city of Lyon in France since 1890. The family have collaborated and become friends with artists like Chagall, Miro, Giacometti and couturiers like Dior or Patou. Their level of excellence for their products is recognised throughout the world.
