Beautiful white 8 mm pearl, brass and red jade set of drop earrings made by The Real Pearl Company. These beautiful drop earrings are designed based on the elegant style necklace worn in the portrait of Anne of Denmark, 1574 - 1619. Queen of James VI and I attributed to Adrian Vanson from the National Galleries of Scotland Collection.

Anne of Denmark (12 December 1574 – 2 March 1619) was Queen consort of Scotland, England, and Ireland by marriage to King James VI and I. With the death of Queen Elizabeth in 1603 and the unification of the crowns, James and Anne became king and queen of England, Scotland and Ireland.

Pearls are a symbol of wealth, status and a form of currency. White pearls are associated with beauty, purity, and new beginnings. Jade, while commonly associated with green it can come in other colours, sometimes referred to as the stone of heaven.
