Jane Charles is a glass artist born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has worked in different studios around the country. These included Stuart Crystal and Edinburgh Glass Works. She worked for various studios until she found the courage to establish Jane Charles Studio Glass. The cold working studio for Jane Charles glass artist work was set up in Edinburgh with facilities in Newcastle. But it would not be long until she was working solely in Newcastle. Her entire business being transferred to the city in 1990.
